    stepper controller box

I am planning to get started on my first ever 4x4 CNC plasma table, I am a new to all this, but am mechanically inclined. I need to build a controller box to controll the CNC. I will use Mach 3. I want a X,Y axis of course and want to run 2 steppers on the X axis or dual drive it as everyone calls it, and possibly down the road a Z axis for torch height control. I would like to stuff it in a neat little box similar to the blade runner box, and I will wire it up of course. I would buy a ready to go kit but I would rather learn how to build it instead, part of the satisfaction of building something like this is doing the electrical work too. Is there any other components outside of whats in that listing that I would need. I have a computer already.
