LCD retrofit problem

Recently had our failed CRT replaced with a LCD on a Mitsubishi 100G WEDM. The work was done off site. Hooked up all connections on new LCD and it looked great...until the machine started to wire burn. Then display disappears. The company that retrofitted the display says they've never heard of this happening before. They don't think it is a shielding issue because LCD's have more shielding than a CRT and it wasn't a problem before. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Solutions? Help!!!! (and Thanks)

We upgraded an lcd to a fadal mill from the working crt and it has worked with no problems from day one-no probs when running machine. Could your lcd be bad, does it work again when machine is not running? LCD power supply still puts out what it should? Food for thought if no answers.....

also check and make sure you are not getting feedback on the ground wire.

The problem turned out to be interference from the analog voltmeter that is mounted in the cabinet door. Remounted it externally. Shows what happens when you try to combine technologies from the 80's and 10's. Thank you for your suggestions.
