Oh eck! what have I done?
Originally I purchased two x steppers and drivers to turn my lathe into CNC,however this took a back bench for now and decided to continue with the CNC machine so I bought an extra driver and stepper.
However I just noticed that the new driver is not the same as the other two drivers and I'm worried I've made an error?
Here's the the two drivers I had originally....
Stepper Drivers - Arc Euro Trade
And here's the new driver which is in steps but the other two drivers are in pulse numbers starting at 400 to 25000....what gonna happen here then matey?
I'm supposing that the pulse numbers are assuming a standard stepper motor of 200 pulses per rev. So 2000 on that box is equivalent to 10 on the other.
You can test this out by seeing if a motor turns at the same speed on the new one using this equivalence.
