what vinyl do I need to use

I'm trying to cut out letters they range from 1/2 to 1", I'm using high performance vinyl it's 2mils thick and I'm having a hard time weeding it, should I be using something thicker?
    Thank You,

    vinyl letters

As a signmaker myself, any letters that small are hard to weed. BUT, make sure your plotter is set to cut slow, and deep if it's hard to weed. High performance is the easiest vinyl to weed, I would suggest staying with that.

For 2mils thick I'd use a router....unless you mean .2? I have some stickers I cut in reflective material that thick and I cut at 400 mmpm and 70 whatevers on the force setting.....must find out what the force is measured in!
