If it's really 1900 rpm, then it should be much faster. And make sure the tool is brand new.
I need help with bit selection on 1 inch blue foam cutting. Using o spiral and cutting about 1900rpm at 300ipm cutting fine on y axis but pitting on x axis
is there a better bit or should i be using compression bit .
Cutting all the way through using 4 passes

I went to a double spiral and ran at 2700 rpm and went 75ipm this helped a lot is there any thing else you recommend
Bit selection isn't as important as using a new, fresh, bit. I've discovered a bit at Harbor Freight which is HSS upcut that works very well. On 1" foam these 4" bits only need one pass. You should end up with a very smooth clean edge. I like HSS for this kind of work because they are much sharper than carbide.
