Hi,i am new in signage works,so can anyone explain the way to paint the engraved portion (hatched sign/letters) on brass.I also want the type of paint to be used since its is a outdoor signage

try to put down a mask before you engrave. That's how I have done it on signs.

If the brass is polished then painting on, and wiping off should work well. If it's a brushed finish then it won't. I'm not sure what would work best to cure on brass, enamel based or 2 part paint would definitely work.
