Just wandering if there are any moldmakers on the forum? I own a laser welding shop and was just curious how many moldmakers or any type of shop utilize an outside service for precision welding? Thanks Dan Joines www.microfusionwelding.com  |

| We do a lot of our mold welding in house although the quality can vary from decent to terrible. In addition to hardened steel injection mold components, we have a wide array of cast iron molds for lead part casting. Do you have any experience with welding cast iron? We are located in Lyons, Pa, probably an hour and a half away from you. |
