So I build a small cnc router table doing some engraving and making pcbs. I would like to build a stronger machine. I figure I can cut some parts for the new machine in aluminum or even steel on the small router if I go slow. I now use a trim router as a spindle. Is there any information out there, websites, books, that can teach me some machining basics? I need to figure feed rates, cutting depth, speeds, for different materials, using different bits. Looking on Amazon I can't make out what's useful in my case. Any advice is appreciated. Stefan V |
