hi,i run a hurco bmc 30 i have a run of 600 4140 castings.since it is somewhat a production run.i need to run them faster then it is running now.the casting is pie shaped with a 1.5 dia.boss1.912 dpw/a.250 rad at the bottom in the center which is where my program is slow.it is taking about a .25 to .312 of stock off.it seems like.3.ipm is about all i can get out of rougher.don't know if i should try taking it.125 cut & speed it up that way.any experience with this would be greatly appreciated.thanks Last edited by hack&wack; 10-04-2009 at 01:52 PM. |
