| If you mean that you want to make a washer that is 0.010" thick then you can use a shim punch and punch yourself a 0.010" washer out of 0.010" shim stock. If you are wanting to machine an existing washer (i.e. the o.d. or i.d) then you could put it on a bolt and run a nut up to hold it tight and then machien the OD. The ID is harder to do, maybe you could sandwich it between two peices of aluminum and then drill thru the whole thing? Jim

| MSC has a whole set of punches and the die set that cuts 1/8"-3/4" for $108.25. It is part # 48424501. Go to www.mscdirect.com and take a look. You might find a shop local that will let you use theirs if you only have a few to make. Note to Self: Order shim punch set. Jim Estes

| Definately go with the shim punch set. You can buy an assorted set of shimstock in 6" x 12" sheets with 1 sheet each 0.001 - 0.030 You should be able to make quite a few washers out of all this.
