Hello, Most CNC setups, including Sherlines are very easy to setup on your computer. The Sherline will come with a black box. This box contains the drivers to control the steppermotors. The same black box has a standard cable that connects to your computer. It will also come with software so you can upload cad drawings and jog the machine manually with the click of your mouse. You may need to buy a cad drawing program if you want to start machining actuall parts. But the setup of the machine will be very simple.
