| in bar in, out, and bar face modes you start by selecting a linear move or a taper move. In a linear move you describe x and z coordinates of where to finish, In a taper move you describe x and z coordinates of the start and finish points of the cut. If you are boring a straight hole, and turning a straight outside diameter, you can use Linear moves. ( I think you are currently using taper) If you want a chamfer or radius at the start of the cut there is a "start cnr./rad" entry field before the x and z coordinates. for instance to turn a 2" bar to 1.8" O.D 3" long You can use the LIN BAR OUT start point x 2.0 start point z 0. speed feed Rtool Ftool LIN cnr____ x_**_ z_**_ x_1.8_ z__3.__ final cnr._____ etc. etc. to turn a taper from 1.8" to 1.85" use the Taper BAR OUT start point x 2.0 start point z 0. speed feed Rtool Ftool Taper cnr____ x_1.8_ z_0._ x_1.85_ z__3.__ final cnr._____ etc. etc. It has been a few years since I have seen a mazatrol T32 controll, so excuse me for not being so accurate on the format Keep trying, It is extremely simple format when you figure it out. I wish I still had a Mazak, The last three shops I worked In had Mazaks Mills and Lathes, the mill controlls are alright, but the Lathe controlls are bad ASS!! |
