all the combination drill/c-sinks I find are 60 degrees and are meant for making pilot holes for lathe centers I need a source for combo drills with 82 degree included angle and a drill point about half inch long so I get a thru hole w/ countersink in one shot I got a source that does custom grinding of tools and can make what I need but they're 36 bucks each for HSS with a two week lead time and minimum 6 per order. It seems like this would be something more common. They make standard "step" drills for counterBORing in one shot, why not the same type thing with an 82 degree angle? |

| The 1/2" tip requirement may be tricky depending on the size you need, but look at Enco and McMaster. Enco has them in different sizes, coatings, and brands. http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?P...PARTPG=INLMK32 is one example. McMaster part number 28145A41 may also work. Hope this helps, Matt |
