I ran into a problem threading the other day with the mori. I found that if I went to the threading cycle and ran the program from there the cycle would run fine. When I tried running the program from the beginning the I get a canned cycle error. I am using a finishing cycle prior to the threading. I am thinking it might be a cutter compensation problem but I turned off cutter comp after the G71 cycle. Do you have to make a certain amount of movement when you use a G40 or can it be done on the way home with a G40? Any suggestions? |
