Tooling Manufacturers?

I am looking for opinions on tool holders from Bison and YG1.
I am looking at a large purchase and have been quoted quite a bit of their stuff.

Have you used them, how is their quality?

Thanks

What kind of tool holders are you looking to buy?

We're a tooling manufacturer, so if you're in need of CAT40, BT40, NT40 or R8 holders, we're finishing up our production run and will have various holders available by next week. We'll have ER collet chucks, endmill holders, facemill holders, and drill chucks. Boring heads and milling chucks will be available a few weeks later.

Our URL is http://www.glacern.com.

Here's a prototype CAT40 ER32 collet chuck next to some sample turning projects. All of our holders will look very similar, with electroless nickel plating rather than black oxide.

Lyndex Nikken

I am the plant manager in florida of a Carbide cutting tools company.
We have been doing all kinds of high speed maching with true mill and we were using the super precision cat 40 holders from lyndex nikken.

Hi Jerry,

ER collet chucks and EM holders are balanced to G2.5 at 20K rpm.
Milling chucks are balanced to G2.5 at 30K rpm.
Drill chucks are balanced to G2.5 at 15K rpm.

Photos and documentation will be available upon product release late next week or early the following week. I will PM you with some preliminary pricing information.
