I have bits from Bits and Bits, Engraving bits 1/8" shank 80 Degree Included Angle with tips of .010" and .030". First off this will be on a CNC Mill, Max spindle speed 3000 RPM. I won't bother you with feeds and speeds I got an idea of where to start. First off how do I setup a tool in RhinoCAM for engraving, I take it from one of their tutorials that I use the tapered mill setting. But after setting up the tool, which is really small it shows up in the simulation as pretty big and text, no matter how shallow comes out quite deep and unreadable. How do I change regular text in Rhino to single stroke, I really want to do a cursive name with the engraver. Anyother tips for engraving would be appreciated. Thanks. |
