Tell your customer to get an engineer with some awareness of industry standards. LOL. I can always tell when a new kid is designing tools for my customer. Last week, I did a job calling for a .751" reamed hole 10-1/4" deep. I checked all major tool catalogs and found no extended length reamers, including shell reamers. I finally drilled and tapped the end of a jobber length reamer and ran the last 2" of the hole with a threaded rod between the reamer and a collet chuck.
