Having problem with drilling 51 hole with 0.85mm drill. I tried to drill holes in one go I mean not turning detail, so i can be sure there will be no errors and top and bottom holes will be coaxial. But it is not working since Ive already broken 4 drillbits. Drill is OSG EX Gold drill cutting lenght is 5mm and shaft statrs only after 7mm. Any suggestions. PS. there are 150 details to be machined. |

| You might be spot drilling the holes, but that little drill is wobbling all over the place when it goes to drill the other side. SNAP. If you need to run this way, then change to a carbide drill. Slow the feed WAAYY down when starting it into the bottom material. I cross drill in 52100 with a 1/16 inch drill and no spot this way. Good luck with that little drill. |
