New Lathe CNC Feeds and Speed Help.

So I've just converted my Harbor Freight 9x20 Lathe to CNC. I have no idea on feeds and speeds for aluminum.

What would be a starting point? I'll be converting to a variable speed motor so I should be able to use Constant Surface Speed. So I do I need to set anything else? I have all new good indexable tooling. From what I've gathered from Little Machine Shop I should set in my CAD .004 per revolution and a depth of cut .04". It also says for carbide tooling to use 2820 as the SFPM. Is this a good starting point or is it too slow or too fast or too deep. Thanks.

I am not familiar with small lathes like this so I can't comment on DOC or feedrate, but I can tell you that I run aluminum at max RPM. If you can run 5000 RPM without vibration, then run it that high.
