    What is this tool called?

Ok so there's no such thing as a dumb question so here goes - The little "things" you can place in a blind hole that are pointed on one end as to mark a hole location on a piece of material you hold up to it - what are those called? I know how to use them, but dont know what to call them. Some sort of blind hole indexing pin? Sort of like a transfer punch for a blind hole.

    Thanks

Are you asking about a blind hole spotter?
