XS- I believe the "Luer" designation is for the taper lock (6%) only. Not for the thread itself. But I could be wrong. Check your print for more info. You could also go here:http://www.beuth.de/cn/J-6533981FB7B...nZWlkPWVu.html
or look for DIN 13090-4. Good luck.
Enter: "Luer Lock" lock or the DIN in the search box.

the blueprint just calls out an iso spec,
which is the 6 degree taper and the thread which is a weird style and also
a double lead

i was looking at thread milling it on a machining center
but the size of the thread mill would be extreamly small
so does anybody know of a source for cutting taps
for a luer thread

XS - The more I look at this the more I believe that "Luer" is for the 6% taper only and the thread can be just about anything, depending on where and how the item is used.
Take a look at this site. It is in German but you will find all types of threads listed for Luer Lock. The German word for Thread is "Gewinde."

You said you had an ISO standard. That would be where you start looking.

Looks to be about .1/180 deg (double lead)
.305 o.d.
.257 root diameter
Square thread that is 50% root, 50% thread
I was going to take the same aproach but the tool would need an agressive taper to it because of the .1/180 degree pitch

The measurements are from a plastic fitting

XS - If you want to make it you will need more info. Looks like..... is just not good enough.
Check the print again. If it is in a foreign language you may have to have it translated - no computer translation. What is the ISO designation?

Just trying to help. Measurements are accurate, thread pitch is accurate. Whats your print telling you. That part of the fitting only draws in and releases the taper.
