| Geof, that's, I think, what I meant, a presetter. But presetters I've noticed in magazines are real expensive and use height gauges and such, so I assumed that they allowed you to set them perfectly to a determined height....anyway, thanks for the clarification. |

Pre-setters are expensive to buy but I think they are even more expensive to use because really you need a tool crib attendant dedicated to doing just that; Pre-setting tools. It also means you have more or less twice as many toolholders because you need a full set in the toolcrib so the unmentionable person who walks up with a sheared off cutter can get a replacement ready to go into the machine and get back making money not wasting it. I would love it if I could have a business running like this; everything organized, everything running smoothly. Huh, dream on.
