I'm writing some books, and my main character is going to teach himself machining in a post apocalyptic world, and my main question is whether or not it's possible to customize an H&K MK23. Who would I talk to, to find out how that is even possible? My goal is to learn about machining so that my main character seems like an expert. I will be reading a lot on these forums. Thanks in advance! Josh |

| i taught myself machining in a post apocolyptic world. or so it seems with 4 kids. what are you proposing to customize it to? anything can be customized I suppose. ask at gun forum maybe, but they'll say the same thing; what customization are you talking about.....hammering it into a sword or custom engraving? (if you use either i expect a royalty ) |

Josh, Been there, but I actually wrote a book teaching CNC Programming. There are alot of sites out there to learn from, and a plug here, buy my book, it's an inexpensive book for programming only though. http://www.cncbasics.com I would be willing to help you out if you had any questions. Feel free to post answers on my forum....http://www.cncbasics.com Thanks, Mike in MN http://www.cncbasics.com http://www.cncbasicsforum.com
