I have attached a drawing of the part I am quoting. There are 400 pcs from 4130-4140 material. I need some recommendations for what I should use to do the .338 deep groove along the shank of the part. I can't seem to find anything with inserts to use to do this operation. Short of grinding my own tool, I am not sure what to use. Don't really want to do that because of the quantity. Thanks. Steve |

| Try Kaiser Thin Bit. http://www.kaisertool.com If you don't see what you want, call them at (260) 484-3620. We use their tools all the time, they are very helpful. You may have to do a few plunges and then a finish pass. Good luck, Bythebookbob |
