| Hey, That's a pretty broad request and also entails a lot of information, if you're a lil more specific i'm sure a lot of people here along with myself can help you out but the way it's phrased right now is like asking the range of animals on the planet and what they do. What do you need the information for and how specific do you gotta be? I'd look to wikipedia for these topics to get a general synopsis. As for Machines just to be generic (It'll still get pointed out i'm missing different types of machines I'm sure) there's manual, manual with feed, manual with DRO (Digital Read Out), manual with feed and DRO, CNC and then there's all different types of controllers and what not and certain machines have different amount of axis'. Some of the manual machines only have feed along certain axis', like in the back here we've got a manual mill with feed in the X only but at my college they had mills with feed in the X and in the Z. Some machines have variable speed some don't and that goes for feed rate and spindle speed, the different types of setups really are endless. You can see how the information can go on and on forever.
