Hi, I am tapping some aluminum parts on my Mazak integrex 240 sy and I broke 2 Emuge taps earlier. I am tapping at the right speeds for the size tap and the metal. I have run these parts many times before without problem. So im stumped right now on how I broke two Emuge's in an hour. Anyone have any ideas? |

| Use rollform taps if you can. I've had the same problem in aluminum... make a bunch of parts, then you get to some stock that seems gummy and it binds the cutting tap up.
