Looking at the measurement accuracy of .001 and the price of $30.00...that's not bad.

Mitutoyo is +- .001, these are also +- .001. Let me hasten to say that I am not comparing them to Mitutoyo! . I have two sets of these Chinese versions and testing them on known diameter they are more then within tolerances, I especially like the digital since the do not operate using rack and pinion drive to get dirty and hang up. I do not like the units with the black stripe down the center (my First set), looks good but it is tape and it will start to separate after a while, the laser etched of course do not do this and still low priced, as mentioned $13 bucks on Ebay, no need to spend $30. I see these as a genuine bargain for general measurement.

Agree, these Chinese "beater" calipers are a great deal. $30 is too much, find a "buy it now" on ebay for $20 or less.

My HF $16 units get a heavy amount of usage. I've put them on precision 123 blocks and they read dead on. I put them on feeler gauges, the same result.
