| I just got AVG antivirus and it's telling me there's 2 trojan virus' with it. So I deleted it and redownloaded it again and it gets flagged as having 2 virus'. Anyone else get this? And is it just something in the program that the AVG thinks is a Virus? |

| This is a false positive. A few antivirus programs throw up an alert because I use encryption software (EXECryptor) to discourage reverse engineering. This is a common problem when using encryption and/or compression software. Tonight I submitted a copy of MEPro to www.virustotal.com for analysis by thirty-seven different antivirus programs. The results are contained in the attached pdf. I have never had a verified report of a virus in my software. It's bad enough that users have to worry so much about a virus infection - but the developer also has to worry about crackers and false positives! I'll submit the file to AVG so they can fix their definitions. Mike

| I received the following message back from AVG (they're fast!). The file I sent them for analysis was a copy of the currently-available trial version of ME Consultant Professional. This is the one that's currently downloadable from my website. "Dear Sir/Madam, thank you for your email. Please let us inform you that all the samples attached to your previous e-mail are virus-free based on the analysis and AVG with latest anti-virus database is not detecting these files. Thank you for sending and your cooperation. Best regards, Tomas Kuba AVG Technical Support"
