Knurling With 90 Degree Included Insert

Is there a formula to figure the pitch for knurling this way. The part is .750 OD by 2.2 lg. 6061 alum the print calls for a medium diamond pattern. I know that it consist of 1 RH thread and one LH thread started from the same position right? I know I have seen this done before but I cannot seem to find any concrete info to go on.

Well with all the great minds here on CNC Zone I am having a hard time believing no one has ever done this... Today I tried a few different pitches and 4,8,10,12 & 16 lead threads and what I ended up with was a 24 pitch 16 Lead thread seem to produce a pretty good diamond. I think maybe 20 leads would be even better but It got kinda late. When I figure out the perfect knurl I am looking for I'll post some pics with the prg.
