Slater Tools makes retractable live centers with inter-changeable tips. I know these are most often successfully used on screw machines, but has anyone used them on a CNC machine? If so, could you tell me why and how it worked out? If not, what kind of centers have you used on a CNC? |

| I use a live center on my CNC but it's a TL-1 so probably not like your machine at all. Although while we're on the topic what applications are dead centers used in?
