What kinda tools have ya yall used with sucess for engraving aluminum plate (6061) .005-.015 deep.

If it's just text and outlines a 90 degree spot drill works great at like .003 to .005 deep in aluminum. Makes a nice crisp line and holds up well. Kevin |

| Its mostly doing logos with alot of surface machining taken off.

| Talk to the router guys. Single flute 30* angle carbide cutter for fine detail. A spot drill would probably work better for what your doing, as mentioned above. |
