Ive been searching for hours for someone who sells a 6 inch 4 independant jaw chuck that can be mounted to a 6 inch rotary table. All the ones I have seen need some sort of adapter plate, but no one has a link to which plates go with which chucks. Does someone sell them as a set? |

| Pretty much any chuck with bolts on the face can be mounted on a R/T. For a 4-jaw, as there any reason you can't drill and countersink a set of bolt holes through the chuck body? The "adjust-true" type of chuck usually mounts with these axial bolts. If you mount a ring to the R/T table, you can then use the adjustment pinions as if the chuck is on a lathe. This is super handy for R/T ops when the work must start the operation with 0 TIR. |
