Is this totally an insane idea, or can it be done? Would it be possible to build a small extruder that can extrude say 20 kg e.g. Al? I have the following machines in my my home workshop to try and do this, A Okuma LS-10, A wire EDM, A CNC Kneemill. MIG & Tigg welders etc. Unfortunetly I never seen a extruder in action and all I know is what I could read. I would like any of you who knows their way around for any ideas. And if anybody asks (My wife does on a daily basis) why do you want to do it? We answer Cause WE can! So, can we do it - or not? |
