HI Everyone I'm new to the forum and I hope I have this in the right place. Can anyone mill a logo for me out of 2mm brass? The logo is the letter T and is to be silver plated. It is to be inlayed into the lid of a corprate box which I am going to make. I would like a small chamfer around the top of the T as I want to inlay it into the box down to the chamfer so that the actual T sits slightly raised above the surface. I have attached an image for anyone interested. The T dimensions will need to be 45mm high x 51mm wide. I'm in the UK. cheers Ian |

| Ian, Take a look at these routers, they would be able to do all your brass work. You would need to add your own stepper motors and drives, however they are very precise. http://www.widgitmaster.com/ Jeff... |

| Hi Jeff I was hoping for someone to mill this for me as my main area of work is woodworking and although I would like to get into the area of milling it is too much of a learning curve at the present time, for instance the link you posted when I looked at it I wasn't even too sure what I was looking at and what it was. I am a complete novice. ![]() Ian |

| why not get it machined in wax? Then get it casted in silver? I would think that the casting fee and the plating fee would be about the same and your only looking at about MAX $10 to $20 depending on the size for the silver. |
