Short and to the point...has anyone ever tried to plumb one cold-air gun into another? Any appreciable decrease in air temp at the nozzle relative to one gun by itself? Worth a try or a waste of time? Thanks guys. Rob. |

| I suspect waste of time, in practise probably not possible. The cold air gun works by letting compressed air expand inside a special vortex chamber; once it has expanded it is no longer compressed so it cannot expand again in a second vortex. If you want to get colder air you could precool the compressed air going into the cold air gun. Use one cold air gun to cool a coil of tube that the air for the second vortex gun passes through. But this will be really wasteful of air. How cold do you want to get?
