Hello, we currently use Nikken sk10 holders and need to make a bulk order.
I am wondering if anyone tried the pioneer version of the sk10 (sx10)
(www.gohpi.com). and have some feedback on them.
Mostly, I am concerned about their fit into the machine and damage to it.
thanks

cheap tool holders can cost you a lot of money, stick with what you know. Kennametal and Gruhin are two good names. Out of balance or out of spec and cheap tool holders can damage your spindle and limit your speeds/feeds. And no, I've never heard of that company, not saying they are bad.
When you order several at a time you can get better pricing. I prefer Schunk. They are probably the most expensive but without a doubt the best available. You have already paid for the HSK spindle why take the chance of ruinng it with poorly made tool holders. However I do understand that it is very difficult to buy the best of everything and still control costs. Sometimes you have to give weight to initial investment over long term payback.
Oh yeah the original question...I have never heard of Pioneer.
