The thread is a M5 x.8 . custom thread ...The thread lead starts at .080 diameter and then transitions to .150 minor diameter of the thread. The problem is the .08 transition to .150. I can send iges, we use Mastercam Any cnc lathe guys out there. ![]() thanks, |

| Does your machine have the ability to do G32 threading? This threading cycle allows the taper, and lead, to vary anywhere along the thread.

| I think that is simple if you have G32; I have never had any need to use it but I have seen pictures of threads that had a point similar to that and then a straight portion.
