Cool 4 axis viper 950 feed issues

i am learning 4 axis and i have a problem. when i use master-cam to make a rolldie tool path i get very slow feeds when using the a axis in all vectors, when x, z, or y only i get full feed. i know there is a parameter for the diameter, that changers the feed ratio to match the circumference. can someone help me figure this out? i am using a troyke model DL-9-8 rotory head on a viper 950-a running Fanuc Oi-mc. thanks

Have yuo gotten this figured out yet?I know fanuc uses a G93 or G94 for syncing the axis.
my feeds when doing the 4th axis cut run around 500. ipm.
You might want to check with Mastercam to make sure the post is giving you the correct output.
Let me know what you come up with or pm me if you want to talk about it more.

    thanks

i did not know the g93/94 thing thanks. i do use a generic 4 axis for haas that will sync the feeds, i just set a upper feed limit in the cd. we also have 2 new haas that you simply tell it the dia your working on nice. i just thought maybe the viper could do this as well, guess not even the viper tech pushed me off. go haas
