Hi ppl Am in the midst of my first cnc build and have had major trouble getting the X Axis lead to spin true on its bearings due to a .2mm out of center 3 jaw. I have been laying the screw on v blocks and marking up with a dial guage then returning that to the lathe and "squaring" up as best as possible. Repetedly using this method and a great many expletives I have managed to get the screw somewhere near satisfactory. For future reference, some one must have a better method. There must be a better way to dial this up whilst on the lathe ??? Cheers Mark |
