Question older Merit Lathe electrical issue....

We have a 16" swing, Merit lathe that is blowing fuses when changing speeds. I was recommended Monarch LP in Sidney, OH for repairs. Anyone know any other companies in the Dayon, Wilmington, OH area I could get an estimate from?? Thanks

    Monarch merit

I own the same lathe and it's doing the same thing ?????
But today the plot thickened, usually I hit the start button
And the speed goes crazy a couple times but then it would straighten out
Today it wouldn't straighten out and started buzzing now it won't even power up I checked all the fuses and there all good and I'm getting power from the transformer. I don't even know where to start when it comes to finding someone to repair it ???? I'm almost ready to retrofit to something I can figure out electronically
