We have a few mills and just got our first cnc lathe and im going to have to start buying tooling for it, 1". I'm looking for advice on tooling and inserts from the experience lathe guys. Any brands of tooling to stay away from? With all the choices of inserts now which work best for each type of operation? I know this might be a lot of info to give but it would be appreciated, just looking to get the right stuff and not waste time or money.  |
