Could any one tell me formula you use to determine specific cutting force. Current Sandvik catalog doesn't include formula or example of using it. Am curious if in current catalog I multiply value by 250% if I'm taking a .04 chip as opposed to .016. Seems logical. Would think formula is in older catalog. |

ks=ks11*h^(-z)*k(alfa)*k(tool) you need more coefficient to calculate ks k(alfa)=c-1.5*chip angle of tool/100 k(tool)=stell=109 h=chip thickness h=(360/3,14*Q)*(a/D)*Sz*SinX Q=Cutting angle a=depth of cut D=tool diameter Sz=feed rate for 1 teeth X=90 for endmilling CosQ=(D/2)-a/(D/2) |
