Engraving on a CNC lathe

I have a hardinge elite lathe and can do some standard letter engraving using the macro b and fanuc engraving program.

However I would like to do some more elaborate engraving and was wondering if anyone knows of a program suited to lathe engraving.

I have read a bit about deskcam and was wondering if anyone has any experience of this on a lathe or could give me any pointers on another program.

Would be grateful for any help or advice
