To prevent overfilling of our machines I would like to install automatic float valves to fill our coolant tanks.(and shut off)
What are the best valves to use and where is the best place to get them.

A farm supply store.
Look for stocktank float valve. We have used the Trough-O-Matic brand without problems.

Edit:
We just use them to stop the fill process, we do not leave them connected all the time.
