What is this type of bar stock called that has a hole running through the center of it along it's length? I need about 1" OD 316ss rod with about a 1mm hole running through the length of it..

is it expensive?

I don't know of any hollow bar or mechanical tubing or other type that has a 1mm hole thru its length. Maybe somebody in the hypodermic needle business? How long is the workpiece/hole? I've seen some relatively deep holes sunk with hollow tube EDM electrodes. .010"/.25mm dia. self flushing tubes resulted in .013" dia. holes about 1" deep. Hope that helps.

I need to go about 6 inches long, .145" OD of the workpiece and a hole that is 1mm diameter going through the center of the workpiece end to end..

cannulated stock, forecreau usa has it (I may have spelled that wrong)
