| to break the chip you might just want to use like a 1-2 turn pause/dwell ( depending on the stainless) use the fastest dwell you can basically like every 2-4 inches. use this only if your not getting good chips, feeds and speeds are important on long drilling. If your getting good chips out ot the drill leave it alone. I wouldnt peck drill it with a spade drill as it will cause chatter and your drill might walk off. |
