In school I opened my big mouth and now I have to make a set of V-blocks for everyone in the class as my final project. I am making them out of 6061t aluminum that will be hardened when finished. The milling should be pretty easy by using a sine bar and leaving .005 on all surfaces for grinding. My question is how do i grind the V slots? |

Grinding: Put the parts on a magnetic sine plate or dress 45s on your wheel with a sine dresser. Good luck with your project and remember The wise old owl. |
