Hi I was wondering if anyone could help suggest some parameters for a machining job I'm helping a friend with. We are 3D profiling a complicated gear on a VMC. We have some 16mm carbide ballnose (4 flute cutters) and the material is EN24T. Can anyone reccomend some speeds, feeds and depths of cut? Cheers Dave |

| Hi, I can’t give you real world numbers but the first FREE software on this link may be of some help to you. http://lovejoytool.com/free.htm John EDIT: I’ve just noticed it’s for a pocket PC so not sure if it is any good to you. |
