I am new at CNC so pleae forgive my ignorance. I see alot of DXF files, which I understand can be imported in to MACH3. But this still raises a few questions: 1.) does any one know of a free or low cose program for viewing .dxf 2.) if you cannot open and munipulate dxf file how do oyu know the size of material and cut paramaters? As I said new to this, ANY information that you would share is very appriciated. thanks |

| Hi tdnp welcome to CNC Zone.Try a web search for Progecad or A9Cad. There are many sites to download the versions of either program that will allow you to view & manipulate DXF files. WT |
