I am new to this forum. I would like to know If anybody has 220 volt Single Phase cnc lathes or mills in opperation.What brands are they and how do you rate Their performance and cost value?Thanks Randy |

| I've been around a few CNC's that were able to be wired for 220-single phase, they ran fine, just that spindle performance was diminished quite a bit, especially the lathes. They all had DC axis motors and a VFD for the spindle. Lathes had much slower accell times and you couldn't take a very big cut. The mills stalled on larger drills and larger "slab" cutters. |
